The main of Ninh Thuan province, in Central Viet Nam, 350km from Ho Chi Minh City. Average temperature 27⁰C, only 50 days of rain a year, sunny and warm all year round. Famous for sand beaches, table grapes, onions and hot peppers. Large population of Cham people. Ninh Thuan has Ninh Chu and Ca Na Beaches, a picturesque pass, Da Nhim hydro-electric plant and Cham towers, built in the 12^th and 13^th centuries. The Cham Kate Festival takes place in July of the Islamic calendar.
